Do we give your information to anyone else?

We may share your personal information with our trusted supplier, Mention Me, who assist us in our data processing activities to allow us to offer a refer-a-friend scheme. You can find more details about the information we share by visiting the Mention Me privacy policy. By submitting the email addresses of friends, the referrer represents that he/she has their prior consent.

We may share your personal information with our affiliate network partner, Rakuten, when you are referred or transact with us in order to determine referral fees or commissions owed. You can find more details about their service by visiting the privacy policy.

We do not sell or trade your information with anyone. We do share your data from time to time with service providers who help us to deliver the interests of Cambridge Nutraceuticals Ltd. For example, we might share your details with subcontractors who are involved in the purchase and delivery process, such as payment and postal providers, or with marketing agencies or subcontractors so that they could send emails on our behalf. We will never share your information with anyone else so that they can market their products or services to you unless you have given your consent for us to do so. The extent and circumstances in which we might share your details with 3rd parties is set out in detail in this privacy policy.

What happens if our business is sold?

We will transfer your personal data to a third party:

  • in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets (at all times in accordance with data protection legislation); or
  • if Cambridge Nutraceuticals Ltd or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by Cambridge Nutraceuticals Ltd about its customers will be one of the assets transferred to the purchaser.

In each case, we process your data in these circumstances because we have a legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by a purchaser. If you object to our use of your personal data in this way, the relevant seller or buyer of our business may not be able to provide services to you.

In certain circumstances we may also need to share your personal data if we are under a duty to disclose or share personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation, such as in the course of a legal investigation.

How do we protect your information?

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.  We use Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

In order to maintain the safety of personal information, we implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order, and when the user enters, submits, or accesses their information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

How long do we store your data for?

Where you order products from us, you will be required to create an account with us and we will retain your data for as long as that account is open, to ensure that we are able to assist you should you have any questions, feedback or issues in connection with a product you have ordered from our site. If you have not used your account for two years, we will contact you to ask if you want to keep your account open. If you tell us to close your account, or if you do not reply, we will close your account and remove your personal data unless there is any other reason why we might need to retain your personal data (e.g. if there are any outstanding orders or payments due to us, or for any of the reasons set out below).

Where we have received your personal data to provide you with marketing communications, we will contact you at least every month to ensure you are happy to continue receiving such communications. If you tell us that you no longer wish to receive such communications, we promise to stop sending them to you. If you do not create an account with us or open any emails that we send within two years of our first marketing communication to you, we will stop sending them to you.

Where we have received your personal data to help improve our website or for any other reason, we will retain your data as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business interest for doing so (for example, to be able to provide you and our other customers with relevant and accurate content) provided that that interest is not outweighed by your interests, rights and freedoms.

To determine the appropriate retention period for the personal data we hold, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the reasons why we handle your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

When we no longer have a lawful basis for processing your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it.

In circumstances where we anonymise your personal data, we do so so that it can no longer be associated with you, but so that we can continue to use it for research or statistical purposes. In this case, we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Where we have processed your data for any other reason (such as where you have contacted us with a question in connection with a product) subject to the above, we will retain your data for two years to ensure that we are able to assist should you have any further questions or feedback.

In any event, you can ask us to delete your personal data at any time by sending a request to us at hello@futureyouhealth.com (see below).
